Physical education department philosophy:

Physical education is comprehensive developmental programme focus on education of the whole person. Physical education is integral part of the total education process and has the same goals that give purpose to all learning experiences. The inter disciplinary nature of Physical education provides opportunities for all students to achieve the knowledge, skills, and values that will develop and enhance their sense of wellness as well as improve their wealth to maximize the quality of their lives.

• Every student will become a Physically Educated person.

Mission:

• To develop awareness among students for Physical health.
• To encourage and enhance students participation in Physical activity.
• To teach students to be respectful and value their health and fitness and also practice healthful activities throughout their lives.
• To help students develop knowledge, attitude, motor skills, social skills, and confidence needed to begin and maintain a healthy physically active lifestyle.

Future plans:

• To make quality Gymnasium in college campus.
• To introduce infrastructure for indoor games and sports
• To organize inter college athletic meets and other sports tournaments in the college.
