Indira Gandhi College was established in 1984 by the prominent medical practitioner and eminent educationist & philanthropist Dr. Madhukarrao Wasnik. It was started in 1984 in Kalmeshwar near Brahmni fata. Later it shifted near Datta Mandir, Kalmeshwar in 1990, since then it is serving quality education to rural students.
